'Where little stars shine bright'
Initially upon opening in January our opening times were 7:30-6pm. After consulting with and listening to parents we changed our closing time to 6:30pm. This has enabled a lot of parents to carry on working without worrying that they may be late collecting their children, thus incurring a late charge.
Learning at home
Through our reception questionnaire it was made clear by parents that you wanted more interaction with your children at home from the learning that takes place at the nursery. With this in mind we have created 'home learning bags' these can be hired out at reception, there is a range of packs suitable to what the parent and child's current interests are.
Parents in the preschool room felt that children should have availability to uniform, ready for when they enter into school. We now have uniform to purchase within the nursery setting, as well as providing school uniforms in the preschool room as part of our dressing up area.

Atif Mehmood - My daughter recently graduated from this nursery. It was wonderful experience with this institution. I would like to demonstrate that it is great institution where the children been looked after really well and the child been focused by experienced and motivated team who helps to develop child in all required areas which helps them to achieve their goals. I will specially appreciate Jo (Director) who lead the team in great manner. Best wishes for the bright future of bright stars who will always produce bright stars.
Toni and Brad -For the past 4weeks that Callie-May has been attending Bright Stars, she has developed so quickly! She is now confidently sitting up all by herself and can now stand up with support too! She has a developed such a cheeky personality and has definitely found her voice! She has started saying words and is just a more sociable baby! The staff have been outstanding with Callie aswell as me& her dad and we could not thank the nursery enough! Your all fantastic and should be so proud of yourselves!

Louise Rogers-My daughter has attended Bright Stars since January and has settled in wonderfully. The staff are always attentive and caring, nothing is ever too much trouble. The food is freshly made on site and the facilities are second to none. I would have no qualms about recommending this nursery to anyone that wants childcare. It makes a big difference when you know your little one is being looked after and loved as much as I love her!
Rachel Porter - A bright appealing building with light and airy rooms making it an ideal learning environment for children of all ages. The rooms accommodate enough space for all children to move around and to different areas of the rooms so children don't feel enclosed. There is a roomy outdoor play area which incorporates a wide range of play equipment and again plenty of space for children to use the equipment as they wish. Children will love moving from the different areas within the rooms, the baby area is cosy with a relaxing and comfortable feel to it enabling babies to move around in a safe environment. I would recommend this nursery to children of all ages.
Laura Knight - Me and my 12 week old son attended Bright Stars for the first time this morning for the sensory/coffee morning that is currently being offered. We had a great time. The sensory room is amazing, as is the whole building but mainly it was the staff that impressed me the most. All very friendly and welcoming, making it a very relaxed and enjoyable experience. Being a first time mum and new to area, I was admittedly a little anxious, but this very quickly disappeared. Thank you so much to everyone- we will be back again next week.
Our recent parent survey gave us some fantastic positive feedback and some constructive criticism. Some parents wanted to be more involved in the nursery process whilst others wanted further clarification on our 'curiosity approach'. In an attempt to aid this we put on a parent get together where parents could meet with staff and chat about their children, our protocols or any ideas they wanted to bring forward. We also gave out lots of information regarding 'loose part play', 'In the moment planning' and our 'hygge' ideology.
