Genes for jeans day
Thank you to everybody that has donated for the cause. We never imagined to raise so much! We are all incredibly grateful and very proud. Cancer is a terrible disease and one that touches nearly everybody in someway or another during our life time. Here's to the marvellous charity that is Macmillan, they mean so much to so many families.

Fun days and charity events
Bright Stars encourages a home from home environment where possible. We encourage all our staff to go barefoot or have comfy slippers on when in their rooms. We find children are often taking their shoes off through choice. This term we are introducing a shoe basket, if children wish to take their shoes off then they can safely store their shoes in the labelled basket.
We encourage this as there are loads of benefits to going barefoot at such a young age.

Monday 5th November is firework night. As usual Bright Stars will be putting on a small display of fireworks, we will be teaching the children all about safety.
If you would like to book a place then please see reception, £1 donation towards the food is as to secure your place.
Staff are walking Snowdon to raise money for children in need - Saturday 3rd November some of the Bright Stars staff will be taking the 4 hour hike up the biggest mountain in Wales. Please donate what you can towards the children in need charities.
Children will also have a fun day on the 11th, we are all so excited!
Bright Stars are celebrating jeans for genes day with a difference! Emma our lovely preschool room leader has undergone a massive transformation over the past 2 years. Since having operations back in 2016 Emma has seen her health get back on form and as a result lost lots of weight. Emma has brought in her old size 26 jeans for the children to decorate and redesign. We are all so very proud of Emma and her massive achievement! 😍.
Up and coming events .........
We have had a fab start to our academic year, most of September was spent settling in new starters but they have all soon made themselves at home, which is fab to see! We have also now started our accreditation process towards the 'Curiosity Approach'. Over the next 12 months we are going to be working hard in evaluating how our environments help towards learning and fun.
